Shangó elekes, mazos, ildés and pinaldos — handmade ritual pieces in the red and white of the King of Lightning, Orisha of thunder, fire, drumming and justice.

Shangó is the drum, the storm and the courage to speak plainly. The elekes are strung in red and white, the mazos are wrapped tightly by hand, and the ildés and pinaldos carry the same two colours through the rest of a devotee's set.

Each piece is handmade and spiritually aligned but not consecrated, so it arrives ready for the preparation only a Santero or Santera can give it.
