“The Makuto was perfect. It looks even better than the pictures. Also, they use very, very fast shipping and they have cool packaging and stickers with their Botanica's logo on it.”

About the Babalú Ayé Elekes, Mazos, Ildés & Pinaldos
Babalú Ayé elekes, mazos, ildés and pinaldos — handmade pieces in brown, white and purple, the colours of the Orisha of healing, of illness and of those who carry both.
Babalú Ayé walks with the sick and the poor, and he is the Orisha who teaches that illness is not a punishment. His devotees come to him for recovery, for the strength to care for someone else, and for help where medicine has reached its limit. The elekes, mazos, ildés and pinaldos here are made in his colours with the seriousness his work asks for.
These are not fashion items and not consecrated — they are sacred tools, made clean and ready for a Santero or Santera to prepare.
