Collares de gala para iyawó — ceremonial gala necklaces made for the year of white, prepared sin bendecir so that a Santero or Santera can consecrate them during the coronation ceremony itself.

An iyawó wears the gala collar of Eleguá, Oshún, Obatalá, Shangó or another Orisha alongside the elekes received at coronation. These are strung by hand in the correct colours and arrive unblessed on purpose: the consecration is part of the ceremony and cannot be done in advance by anyone else.
