Yemayá elekes, mazos, ildés and pinaldos — handmade pieces in blue and white, the colours of the Orisha of the ocean, of motherhood and of the protection that never stops.

Yemayá is the surface of the sea and the mother of all, the one devotees turn to for children, for safe passage and for a love large enough to hold loss without turning bitter. Her elekes are strung in blue and white, the mazos are wrapped by hand, and the ildés and pinaldos are finished to match.

Each item is handmade and spiritually correct but not consecrated — preparation belongs with a Santero or Santera.
