Nana Burukú is the eldest, the one who was here before the roads were cut. Her presence is grounding and ancestral, and she is worked with by initiates and serious practitioners rather than casually. The elekes, mazos, ildés and pinaldos in this collection are made in her colours, with the weight her place in the tradition deserves.
